What Prop do i need for a Mag 502

i have had to re engine my 21ft rinker, ive just bought a magnum 502 with abravo 2 drive, what prop is the best one to get for that engine?

Prop selection requires more information than you have provided. That said, you should really reconsider your drive selection. Bravo II outdrives are intended for larger, heavier boats such as big cruisers and houseboats. You should investigate switching the lower gear housing to a Bravo I or Bravo III. Good luck.

Agree. You would want a bravo one on that boat. That engine in that small of a boat should be able to turn a 24P Bravo One 4 blade or a 25P Marage Plus 3 blade. Prop it to turn 46-4800 rpm at wide open throtle.

You need to put a B1 lower on it. The props you'll need don't fit the B2 and the drive x-dim is way too low, you might even get problems with the wake comming over the boat when stopping - not something that happens often, but it's seen before. The 25" LaserII is the prop to use or the Vensura, but prop for 4900-5000+ rpms. The B1 prop has way more dia than you'll ever need on a 21' Rinker, it'll be slow, and you would want a prop with more bowlift. If you feel you're lacking bite with a LaserII or Vensura, try the M+ and Revolution4. Spending money on a B1 for that size boat, and then spending money to have it labbed, just to try and make it work, is money out the window. If anything, by a three blade for speed, and a 4 blade for everyday use. Prop's are not a one-size-fits-all kinda deal. See if your local prop shop will let you test some props, or call Bblades, they'll have a test program.

What year is the hull? I had a 1992 206 captiva built 30 over 350 with a 1.5 gear ratio alpha gen2 and the best prop for the hull I had was a 22 and a 24 pitch bravo 1 5200 rpm I ran everything.
