Id send you a drink if I could.

Lots of guys like Darts heads, and a whole lot of them are faster than I am.

I bought that boat already built that way & knew it was fast but when I opened it up & held it there it starts chine walking at 85 or 90. Talked to eliminator about it & they said thats about all the hull was designed for but I could put some big k planes on it to increase the running surface. Havent done that yet still dealing with the engine, At first thought a stand off box would help but k planes are adjustable, people that have seen me running say the only thing in the water is the prop. Definately a boat you need to pay complete attention to when driving. Just a thought if I set the planes to steady the boat at hi speed & have to back out quick would that stuff the bow as more of the planes & hull contact the water?

Most V hulls are tricky at speed.

You just want the tip of the tab touching - barely so it doesn't stuff or tab steer when you get out of it.

What's your drive height? I've got a lot of seat time in a friends '01 25' eagle with an 800hp whippled 502. It's got 4 years of very hard running on the stock crank and block.. If you keep it flat it settles on the pad and it's very stable right into the low nineties. We've tried lowering the drive to reduce slip but it does make it more prone to chine walk. I think it's running a -3" sporty lower right now. We've tried 3 blades, 4 blades, 5 blades, etc. The only thing that changes is the RPM. It'll run 92 with 4 guys in it and 92 empty. Maybe a bowrider thing? I think the only solution is more power.. :drink:
