Gen. 5 454 magnum plus $10000 what should I do to it?

What is it going in? What kind of use do you want it for?

i would say that if you have 10,000 and a good 454 mag.....

1- sell the 454 mag
2- buy a motor in the horspower/functionality range that you are looking for (blown, NA, aluminum/cast heads....etc....)

bigger cubes is generally better and these days there are some really good deals on performance engines to be had....even right here on OSO if you shop around.

ive seen 1000 HP engines for the kind of money your talkin...10k-15k and you wont even have to wait to have it built or fool with it yourself.

depending on hoe fast you wanna go....a 502 is a good enginie....or a even a 540 can be had well within the price range you are throwing around.

I have to agree... Sell the 454 Mag motor and buy a 502/540.

i may be interested in your mag motor if you choose to sell it let me know

send me your 454 mag and the 10k. i'll send it back and tell you it is 750 hp and go spend the 10k on a better boat...
