Coupler

I have a 38 fountain with 385 hours 454 b1s in it. I need a new coupler but wondering if I should use the aluminum splined or steel splined coupler. It currently has the aluminum ones in it. Also does anyone have any couplers they are looking to get rid of. Thanks for any help, Eric 815-708-5658

I would only buy new couplers. I prefer the steel splined ones.

Check out The OSO classified, I believe there is a brand new steel splined coupler for 285.00. I think list price is around 420.00.

I have a set consisting of locking coupler like the one in the Master link, also has a hitch pin lock and receiver pin lock all on the same key. Also I also have the undermount coupler and the coupler lock from my previous trailer doesn't even come close to fitting. I have looked online at the Diversi-Tech locks also. Please let me know if your new locks fits.I keep the coupler and hitch pin lock on the trailer all summer (boat is on a slip), so i know where they are and to hopefully deter anyone tempted to drive off with my empty trailer. What model number did you order?

Engine coupler, not trailer coupler.
