454 mpi what are they worth
 

I have a set of 2000 454 mpis 385 horse with about 250 hours on them, what are they worth.

454 MPI's are 310 HP. The 454 Mag is 385.

When you figure it out I might be interested if you're willing to split them up.

probably core value if they run and the intake manifolds aren't all rotted away inside ... low value 1500 and if they are exceptional and have 6 % leakdown maybe 2500 each

They are the mag mpis

You could get at least $ 3500/each on ebay if they have good compression and leakdown. Possibly as high as $ 4,000 each.
They won't sell for as much here on OSO, you should try your local craigslist as well. A lot of people are looking for drop in motors for winter projects right now.
I might be interested if you want to dump them quick.

I sold a pair of 454 MPI Mag/ 385 hp rebuilt that I had gotten in a deal, and had no knowlege of whether they were good or not, so I asked $6500 for the pair and got it. That included all the black boxes, but no mounts, bellhousings, exhaust, etc.

just sold mine complete for 4k cdn...320hres..there are not that many for sale around here....a lot of guys like the magnum because of the h-d components...jmo
