How does braided stainless hose hold up in salt water

Im doing some rerigging and thinking about using 316 braided stainless hose purely for cosmetic reason. It will be partially submerged in salt water every time I run the boat. How does it hold up or should I just find a nice looking synthetic hose?

If you have had success in salt with a particular hose, let me know.

I don't think you'll have any issues with the SS braided hose. The fittings may be another story unless you can find solid SS.
Here is a pic of my old drive shower. It had about 5 years in fresh water. The hose was fine. The fittings were starting to show some wear. The fittings used to be red and blue.

In salt water, my SS braided hose slowly turned a little brown tinted in a summer. Some good cleaner in the winter restored the look. Correct on the fittings! Find SS ones.

Teflon with stainless braid or rubber with stainless braid?
