Hyd hose on cooler
 

finishing my inside Hyd steering install, cannot get the H/D hose supplied in the kit to go on the slip on filling on the cooler..only slip fit in the system...fitting made on cooler so can't change that..any idea's ? thanks Rob

That is the low pressure side right? I just used braided rubber hose from the local auto store. I think 3/8" rubber gas line.

Hate to have to change the whole hose..15' or more..goes all the way to the helm..plus would have to change the fitting there as well....

Use an hosebarb-to-hosebarb adapter to go to the right size. Tuck it out of sight so it doesn't show, but you can still access it.

thanks, thats what I ended up doing..could not get the hose to slid on now matter what...found I have one hose end that did not seal !!!! but had to get winterized...cold coming !!
