Default Latham Competition Controls

Having an issue with the neutral safety switch on a 1 throttle / 1 shift unit. Really would like some diagrams on wiring and a parts list. Latham is not open and I need to get this customer back on the water this weekend. Any advice could be helpfull.

Ok. I have 2 orange wires that appear to have been linked together with glass almost like a glass fuse. If the wires are touched together, the engine will start, but also starts in gear. I assume the wire ends were seperated by a small gap in the glass junction only allowing them to complete the circuit when the magnetic tab on the shifter is alligned in the neutral position. Does this sound right to anyone?
