The prop should work good for you. I let an acquaintance borrow my Ballistic 23" or 25". I did not see him over the winter and when I asked about it the next summer he said he sold it on ebay and thought I gave to him.

Jeez, hope he at least gave you the money!

I dynoed well over that, 540hp/570tq...I'll treat really easy just to get a good baseline run on the props. Should have no problem since i now have 21-24" props. Here is what I have:

14 3/8 x 21 Ballistic -- surely to be way to small since I spun that to about 5150 before the build.

14 1/2 x 22 Raker -- what I used for four break in hours and seemed pretty good but on short full throttle runs I could easily pull past 5200 (which is where I would like to run for my max)

14 1/4 x 23 Ballistic -- new/used from ebay

14 1/4 x 24 Turbo -- was on the boat when I bought it but is still surely to much.

Once I figure out which works best I can have BBlades do something for me...I'll cross my fingers, run a light load, and hope my rev limiter works good if I spin a hub :)

My guess is it will be somewhere between the 22 and 23. I should be able to sell these props and about pay for something custom from BBlades later...my ducks are in a row at least for now.

Don't worry about skiing or tubing, that's what friends with Mastercraft's and Malibu's are for :)
