Merc 420 Valve Cover Paint

I have a set of Merc 420 valve covers that I want to repaint. One set is in great shape the other set is terrible. Does anyone know where I can get the Merc black paint that crinkles when it dries?

I got some at Advance Auto, layed it on thick and heavy to get uniform krinkel, when completely I dry used a block of wood with 120 grit sandpaper to do the fins and it looked factory.

That what I was thinking about doing on the fins. I'll check out advanced auto and give it a shot!

I tried to repaint mine but they just didn't look right. I bead blasted them and had them powder coated.

I always had good results using:

Have used it for valve covers, Harley block, cylinders and heads. Holds up very well.
