hp500 carb to 525 EFI

What is the difference between a blue hp500 carbed motor and a blue 525 besides the intakes and the obvious?

Can you bolt a 525 intake on an hp 500 without a lot of problems or headaches?

I think the 525 has a little bit bigger cam but not sure about the heads?

Will the 525 intake flow better then the 454/502 efi intakes?

525 has Edelbrock heads.
525 intake is very different than the 454/502EFI.

HP500 Carb (blue) can be either a 502 or a 540 (Bulldog) and probably is a MkIV or Gen 5 block. The 525 is a Gen 6 block.

Cams are similar, but not identical (aside from the thrust bearing stuff).

will the 525 intake bolt up to the hp 500 carb heads?

I have the 500 carb motor just sitting in the shop but I really want to go injected since I am going to use it at different elevations a lot this year.

They are Aluminum Edelbrock heads, almost identical to the Edelbrock marine rectangle port heads except valve stem dia. is different and no merucry casting on them.
