Reviews: Jesel Sportsman Shaft Rockers
I'm thinking about making a move to Jesel Sportsman.
Does anyone have any information, good or bad, when using this system?
532CID, Merlin heads, .650" lifts, 5,800 to 6,000 rpm
Thanks
Dennis

i have used the Sportsman Series for well over 10 years on engines up to and over 1400 hp without any problems. Sure, the one piece stands with the Pro Series are stronger, but unless you are running over 600 #'s of spring pressure and over 6500 rpm then there is really no need for them.
Once you put them on and adjust the valves, be sure to verify that the roller is centered on the valve. There is a little play in the stands, so you have to check them. Once they are set they don't really move. So, just be sure they are right the first time and don't worry about it any more.
