They Merc limiters do vary a little bit, maybe 100rpms or so.

So by unplugging the stock ign. box and plugging in the MSD box i effectively eliminated my rev protection . So i need to add a soft touch rev control . Is this correct ?:circle:

yes the limiter is in stock ign box. you will need a limiter:drink:
