500EFI Whipple on 454 MPI Mag????
I found a really, really good deal on a Whipple supercharger for a 500EFI for a 502.
My questions is this... Can I make that charger work on my 454 MAG? Can I take the parts of this system and add some new whipple components to make it work? I believe the 500 efi charger is about 8 years old. And if it can't be done... Anyone out there want to sell me a bolt on supercharger for my 454 MPI MAG?:D |

why not? Only thing I can think is at worst you may need to change the fuel press or efi map for the 454I would contact whipple to be sure. I'm sure someone else will chime in

What kind of power are you looking to make? You can try and contact Dustin here on OSO, goes by the name Whipple Charged. Besides having a fuel system that can keep up with the power, you should look into an oil cooler and raw water supply that is up to the task as well. Are you running a standard B1 drive? Full hydraulic steering? I'm asking these questions because every piece of the setup is part of a reliable setup. Good luck with it. |

As much as I can with my current power plant.;) Does the MPI MAG not have an oil cooler? Thought it did... No on the hydraulic steering, it is on the list. |
