I've had a look about the site but no-one has really made direct comparisons between them.

Has anyone used both?
What did you think?
What do you Have in your boat and why?

I've used them both, I have Pirate Com in my ride and like them. Nothing bad to say about the Clarkes but the Pirate Com guys were so involved in my application and even offered to come install them free. I would deff buy Pirate Com again! Just my .02

If you plan to listen to music thru the headsets, PriateCom is mono only.

is it mono only when you have music or when you're talking also?

Wasn't Pirate just bought out by another company?

it was and i'm not sure i'm happy about that in the long run.i like talking to romao.all the guys in the group i run w/ have piratecom,i guess they liked how mine sounded,even w/ dry pipes screaming.
