If you really want true, professional advice, then I would consult "RMBuilder" aka Bob Madara of Marine Kinetics. Bob is at least worth a phone call and will consult you on what you already have or if you want to upgrade, etc,---especially critical cam profile/selection and get you dialed in. (585) 654-8583

Johnny,
No matter who you decide to call, you are going to need a LOT of information about your boat, engines, and drives, and how you want to use the boat before they can give you a correct answer. Make sure you have as much information as possible. Selecting a camshaft is probably THE most important part of an engine build. If you dont get it right, you will never be happy with the results. Hope this helps, Bill Koustenis Advanced Automotive Machine Waldorf Md |
I'm going to be a broken record here. Call Bob. The last cam he did for me I made 1.23 hp per cubic inch. The engine had excellent dock manners and great top end and I was able to run standard Stainless Marine risers with out reversion. Plus he's a great guy to work with.
