old style k plane indicator mouniting

i have a set of the old style k planes, it appears that there use to be indicators installed with them but there was a crappy screw that appears to have been screwed into the side to hold the cable to them, nothing like the new ones. does anyone have pictures or ideas on how to do this? i have my indicator for the dash, just not sure how to mount the cables. im sure other people have had this same issue

Do you have any type of plug in mounting plate, that lines up with bottom cylinder pivot pin? If so you can buy new pivot pin with step and threaded end for a 10-32 nut, the cable is held with a plastic or stainless crush nut and rubber insert that seals and secures cable.

there is a hole that you can get a piece like what is in the link, it doesnt line up at all with the pin. i am thinking i am gonna have to get a couple of these thru hull fittings and attach it to the plate. i am hoping someone has the older k planes with indicators that can show me how they were attached
