Fluid capacity of B/W trans

I know this has been posted before but I need to know what the capacity of the B/W tranny's and if there is a drain plug or do you just vac it out of the dipstick hole, Thanks, Fred

Fred, I dont know about the drain plug. I think it would be hard to get to anyway. If the oil is warm I use the small oil suction tube that comes with most oil change kits. then pump it out. There is approximatly 2 quarts in it. I put in 1 and a half quarts of Dextron II then run it in and out of gear then recheck and top off. Good luck, Mark B.

Thanks for the info Mark, thats what I ended up doing....sucked it out with oil change hose, filled to line, ran in and out of gear and re-checked,....Fred

Guys, use type F ro FA fluid. Less chance of slippage. Dexron has friction modifiers in it for those nice smooth shifts.
