Yup,

I agree. Nothing wrong with Johnson/evinrude, just seems parts are cheaper/more plentiful for the mercs.

My friend Lee (Ospreyproduction on S&F) had over 800 hrs on his 250s'. They will run forever, but , like you stated they like fuel.
