Take a few minutes to assess the technical capabilities of the Daytona Sensors system and let the data speak for itself. We have worked with a number of these systems, and not only is the quality top notch, the functionality is in a league of its own.
During the design phase of product development the staff at Daytona Sensors solicited input from a number of people working on the marine side to compile a wish list of needs for a marine specific product. They obviously listened and incorporated many of those design features into this system.

Are you running the stock Merc starter? I have fried a couple of starters already, the bendix doesn't hold up.

I have looked at the Daytona, I just don't see how it will benefit me. I'm running a carb NA and I'm considering locking my distributor. The only features I would use are the start retard and rev limiter. If I'm missing something please fill me in. I have also looked at the ICE modules and they look to be the best bang for the buck so far.

Yes. I had no problems in the past..I haven't tried it this season yet. If I have a problem i can install the msd starter saver boxes which automatically lowers your cranking 10 or 20 degrees below 800 rpm's

I tried them and they were horrible, they bounced the timing all around. You could see it with a timing light, box connected timing was all over, take the box off timing much steadier. I went with a 10 degree bushing and one light and one medium spring. I used the medium spring to make sure the weights don't stick out and return smoother. I believe I'm all in by 3000 rpm. I sent both the 6M and the 8984 back to MSD to check out and they didn't see any problem with them. That's why I'm looking at something different.

Going back to my previous post..Dean from Nickerson performance said to me at 9.1 compression I should have no problem starting my motors with locked in timing at 34. If i do, then i have a bad battery or a cable...
I bought 2 new interstate 1000 amp cranking batteries anyway..I'll see what happens soon

Any thoughts on the ICE Ignition modules?

Some one must have tried the ICE products, Ray, Eddie what about others?
