stepped hull and boat hoist

im looking at a boat hoist this year for my boat. 38ft zx donzi with a stepped hull. The hoist just has stright bunks. How bad is this on my hull? Would i need to just the hoist to fit the steps or would it be ok cause its just a slow lift out of the water?

Fix the bunks to match your hull. Point loading the steps is not good and hull damage will occur. Just because you lift it out slowly doesn't change the weight load on the hull relative to the bunks.

Search the forums, tons of info on how to modify bunks for step hulls or contact a company like Myco that will build you a cradle.

The bunks need to be modified to properly support the hull.

Just discussed a couple days ago, can be found with a search.

You do need to make the bunks fit the boat.
