heard of them slowing the boat down....seems you need to run 80+ to see any gain...and the newer drives see less improvement than the older ones....just what I have heard...

Ha- once again a potential great thread and it just died with no updates. If I had to guess, he lost speed, IMO if he saw an improvement he would have posted the results. Hopefully he will chime in and let us know what happened.

WTB urgently, xxxx boat willing to travel! 5 pages, great responses, lots of boats, links/contact details and the op disappears! Which boat? xxxx or yyyy? Links to adds, references from owners, magazine reviews, pages of information and the op disappears! Bought a new to me xxxx, how do I post pictures? Pay for a membership, use photobucket and a link, cut and paste or something and the op disappears! What flooring is best for my xxxx? 2 pages of comments, 5 good alternatives all with links to websites and the op disappears! How to replace a thingummyjig on my xxxx. Answers from members who have done it before, clear instructions, photos and the op disappears! Etc. Etc. Etc. Line them all up against the wall, give them a laptop and tell them they've got 15 minutes to respond to their own thread or they will be shot! Boring day here today, sorry for the rant, got it out of my system now. RR EDIT: As BUP (a very helpful member) suggested below, don't want you to get p'd off and run elsewhere but we are interested in the outcome, could be good lessons in it for all of us. |
funny but we are probably running him off now. Will add - alot people who post problems with their boats / engines / drives that receive replies from others with help plus spend a bunch of time including myself to help - I hate when the OP never comes back to say what fixed his problems or if even infact that it was fixed 100 %. I really hate that part of it. I like to know when I am right and when I am wrong and completely wrong with what I thought the fix was. Just saying
