does anyone know fi the outer trim bezel will come off? would liek to have it hydro dipped with the rest of the parts, after my new dash is done?

That looks like a Mercury Racing Trim Panel. The frame has studs that basically assemble the whole thing from behind.

Here is a drawing...

So it looks pretty complicated to just take off the bezel... have to disaseemble the whole thing.... guess it will stay white.

thanks for the link, very informative. and i may still get ancy and do it.

I have the same issue... trim and switch panels need to get done but I am too lazy now to tear everything apart.

Sounds like a good winter project for us!

yes depending on the room you have behind those things are a royal pain in the butt to take apart and put back together. It's not difficult just tedious.
