28 Powerquest vs 26 Donzi??
 

Looking for some input from anyone. I think I have narrowed my new boat search down to two boats. 1. 1999 26' Donzi ZX, has single 502 Mag MPI, hyd steering, nice navman GPS boat is in great shape roughly 400 hrs. The 2. 1999 28' Powerquest Silencer, has 502 mag mpi, roughly 450 hours,boat is also in great shape. Both boats have nice trailers under them, and are priced roughly the same. I dont necessarily have a favorite I like both boats. Looking for opinions if you could get them for same price which would be a better buy. Or if you can get the Powerquest for a little less would that be a better buy???

Two nice boats, Did you have them surved? did one come back better than the other? or both the same. If it was me I would go Donzi I think they are great rides. JMO

I've had experience with both boats.
Both nice boats. Donzi has some cosistencey issues back then. Some boats were well built and stout, others tended to be lighter and sloppier build. All 26zx's I've ridden were very wet boats.
PQ is faster, but the ride is a bit worse - however it is dry. PQ did make quality products though. Rigging - both similar, but I'd give the nod to PQ. Upholstery - Donzi. Engine box room - Donzi.
