Compression for my mercruiser

Hello there I am looking to find some info for my 1986 260 mercs. I would like to know what the compression readings should be when hooked up to the dyno. Any knowledge/links would be appreciated.

Thanks

Seems to me mine was right around 160psi. There is a range listed between 120-170. I believe it is more important to have consistent reading across all cylinders. The pistons are more than likely flat tops and the heads 76cc. If either of these items have been changed your numbers may vary.

If you are looking for a quick bang-for-the-buck switch to the high-rise GM iron intakes and flame arresters from the magnum and contact the Carburetor Shop in Ontario, CA for the proper rods for the secondaries. I picked up 400 r.p.m.s with this combo in my Chris Craft Stinger + lots of torque.
