Polylift problems

A couple of months or so ago I posted about my leaking Polylift lift. Several people posted some suggestions for self repair. Unfortunately I've lost those posts.

Yes, it's warrantied for life. Not too cool to take a 30ft pontoon out of the water and ship it to Polylift though.

With the boat off the lift the leak is above the waterline so it's accessible. That's a really good thing !

I believe I remember someone suggesting 5200. I'm not sure if 5200 could/should be considered as a permanent fix.

I could use some ideas so please feel free to post for me. Anyone with experience please chime in here. I need to take care of this real soon.

Thanks much.

Not familiar with the lift or the type of leak but 5200 is a "Permanent Fix" for a lot of holes on every boat. Drives, Drain Plugs, Sea Water Inlets for A/C, Generators, Toilets, Wash Down Systems, etc...

If we all trust these holes to be sealed and submerged all the time, I think that it might be an option for your pontoon.
