That's a lot of boat for $5000.00 how long is it? How is the interior?

It sure is! That's a real good deal! Someone set the exhaust up for o2 sensors also, I imagine if they welded the bung in they uses it to tune it. Very good sign

What size is this boat?

Its a 27 interior is good floor has a little of a soft spot, and the engine oil cooler is leaking oil other than that I cant find and problems with it.

Nice find! Got to love a good deal! I think 65 for a single engine 27 footer is pretty good! I think you would have to build that engine up to a 540 to see any real gains. You may be able to gain a few MPH by trying different props or labbing one.

Nice score on a rare ride. Love the classic lines. There's been a couple of the same (I think) hull for sale lately w/twin O/B's. They were the Speedster models though and not sure this one is.
65 is cruising for a single in a boat that size. I'd run it for a while before you start blowing stuff up. Gets expensive in a hurry ;) (speaking from experience on both accounts)
