hydro steering issue in reverse
 

Hey all. I feel im having an issue with the steering while backing up. I cant seem to swing the rear of the boat around very easily while docking...In forward there is no issure turning the boat at all but when in reverse i cant get it to back to the right at all and it will only go slightly left!!!! i dont think its inexperience becasue last yr i had no problem docking my baja(no hydro steering).

I have a Dual ram bravo external kit on the boat now... is there something i should measure or check or what becasue im totally stumped. Thanks

Sounds like maybe the rams were improperly placed and your drive does not have the range of motion it used to have when you didn't have hydro steering. Not really noticeable under normal operations until you need it in reverse and going slow. Just an idea.

That is something i was thinking about. The boat came with the steering already installed....i guess i will have to measure the ram throw and see if something can be done.

The drive bracket says WPM....Anybody know the make??
