ez 2 or 3 mph extra???
hers a dumb ?? Some have told me if I install a bow cover on my baja that the improvement in aero will add a few mph. Im hitting 73 now and the wind is wild over the bow area. Anyone have exp. with this ?
thx sj |
Generally this is true, but the faster the boat is the more aerodynamics take effect.

My guess is you would not see any MPH difference. Take some weight out of front to back & then you will see more MPH. 28' Eliminator bowrider w/twin 454's 97mph everyone is in back or passenger seat. Move 2 from back seat to front bowrider area - 92 mph

I kinda thought it sounded too much to be true.
|
Personally, I would not want to be sitting in the front of a bowrider at 92 MPH...
|
Don't smile while in bowrider at 92 mph!
You could be like the guys in the bass boats who like to catch their bait in their teeth at 65 MPH! :D
|
92 mph in the front of a bowrider:eek: whoa Nelly! Not without seatbeats:rolleyes:

Ride in bowrider in Cat hull is nothing like in V hull. I don't thing I would want to ride in V hull at that speed but Cat is very stable.
