so now what.. MPI ECU bad.
 

my ECU sets a code 14 no matter what, then idles up and down til it dies. runs fine every where but idle. before everybody chimes in, we've been down the road of it being other stuff. finally i changed out with the other one, and the motor runs great with the other ECU.
soo can it be reflashed or is it just trashed? anybody have one laying around cause i'm not bying a new one, Merc is out of their mind on price!

what year engine package.. I am in wichita and have ECU's if it is a MEFI. Yes it can be reflashd as long as it isn't coding 52 or 41. Was going to be at Perry this weekend but work is taking me to NY.

I had planned to be at Perry but have request from new clients in the NY area to tune their high dollar rides.

Perhaps in a couple weeks you can drag yours down and we can figure out what's wrong or re-flash if necessary. We can replace the ECU too if need be.
