Will these exhaust transom rings work?
 

I purchased aluminum o-ring transom rings from Kieth Eickert for my gil thru-hull dry exhaust. http://www.keitheickert.com/p-13707-...som-rings.aspx

I have not installed them yet. Now I'm wondering if these type of rings allow enough play for the motor to move a little on it's motor mounts or the hull to flex? Does anyone know if these will be ok? I have stock merc (rubber) motor mounts on a big block.

I think those are a little small. Just got the 7" from cpperformance and its a nice 3/4 inch worth of gasket between the gil and ring
