you need to set the timing at 30* and no more..the vortec heads are a fast burn head,more timing will melt valves and tulip the intale valves..the module should have a curve to it,x amount of rpm's and then x amount of timing comes in..the higher the rpm the higher the timing so i would say above 4k you should be able to see 30* of timing if you have a 22* module and 8* of base timing.

Give DUI serious consideration. It's not MSD but most of us for normal use don't need all a MSD does any way.
