Default Installing Shore Pwr/Bat charger in Center Console

I am planning on installing shore power to charge batteries, and have a/c for occasional use.

Best location is directly in center console, which holds my 3 batteries. I am planning on running shore power inlet to small marine A/C distribution panel, then to GFI & bat charger.

questions;

1. Ok to run A/C into closed center console in close location to my batteries (fumes)?

2. Dist panel runs all green grounds into common position. There is a green lead coming out of panel, where would I run this to? Not too many options in center console; batteries, electronics, common dc ground, not much else.

Thanks!
