Trim pump Solenoids

Here's the problem. The trim pump works just fine when lowering the drive....if I lower it and then immediately raise it it will rise. If I lower the drive and let it rest then attempt to raise it, I can here the solenoid click put the pump does not run. If I hit the down switch then up it will trim up.

WTHF? Anyone? please?

sounds like the solenoid

If you had a helper it would be easier, isolate which solenoid, jump it to verify it is the solenoid, it's a very common part, should be in stock, about $20. My buddy just went thru this on his 32 Fever, changed the solenoid and bought a spare for inventory.

Good luck:D

Oh yeah- post #500- woo-hooooooo!

I had the same problem...its the solenoid. The "UP" has the blue wire running to it. As cattitude said, to be certain jump it.
