Called and said I was lookin for info on the KPM sea strainers and the guy says "no longer in business, wrong number" .....click

So is kpm out of business? I was leaning towards this one but if I can't find it soon I'll need to start lookin at others.

Twinspins your pic is too small

Personally I like the lids, and the whole units for that matter, of Stainless Marine and Latham Marine.

The Stainless Marine strainers are on the center stringer and the Latham Marine's are on the outboard stringers. Both lids are REALLY easy to remove...Latham is just a screw off lid, it has a knurled edge that makes it easy to grab and twist off. The Stainless Marine one just has that black "star" knob handle that loosens a clamp around the lid.

In my opinion they are two of the better ones out there...

thanks for the pics guys. I would still like to find out if the KPM's are available and who carries them before I move forward with this.

also my sea water hose is 1 1/4" ID so I don't want to reduce down to 1" NPT if I can avoid it.

Mine are 1 1/4" fittings.
