Is there any truth to Block casting #10243880 5.7 mercrusier having bigger oil passages than the standard 5.7 GM truck or car vortec Block .

well since that casting number comes up as a truck block and mercruiser buys the long blocks from chevrolet already assembled I would say it is just another of the myths that float around
