livorsi bezel fell off

The chrome bezel fell off my volt gauge while wiping down my dash. Is there any way to re-install this without sending back to livorsi? The gauges are several years old so they are out of warranty, but I only have 20-25 hrs on the boat in that time. Its the bezel, glass, and seal that fell off.

thanks

I've removed mine and reinstalled by folding over the aluminum around the back. Have to remove gauge to do it

I tried the re-crimping method but it didn't last when my bezel fell off. I put a small amount of seal all on the rubber seal and then a small amount around the metal crimp. Solid as a rock now.

I've not had much luck w/their gauges of late. Bought some stuff for a project and let it go out of warranty before opening the packages. Some of the gauges had 10 yr old date codes on them!
The hr meter in that batch stopped working w/less than 20 hrs on it. Now the gas gauge is going out w/about 30 hrs of use. Or it's their wizz bang, $100., ohm reading pick up going bad.
Then I screwed up and got on their e-mailing list some how and have "unsuscribed" multiple times and still get crap from them all time.
Definitely not what they used to be and won't see another dime of my money.

Their products are garbage and they don't stand behind them.

Even when they make a horrible mistake in making their products they manage to make even more money.

The GPS speedo is the easiest example. They sold thousands of them with a battery hard wired into the GPS. Then they sold thousands of replacements, then thousands of upgraded GPS units. The initial price was high, a good company would have stood behind the product but they just used it as a tool to make more money.

I found the original GPS unit manufacturer direct for something like 12 bucks (can't remember exactly). But it goes to show when you buy a 500 GPS speedo from Livorsi you are probably buying 30-40 bucks worth of equipment

This brings up an interesting question. Where are folks going these days for good gauges?

VDO are probably the best out there but they don't have the bling. Nordskog is still around too, also no bling.

I am a bit surprised no one hasn't started blinging out the VDO's yet.
