Here is a thread to a similar problem I had on my truck.
It turned out to be the battery. I could only see maybe 0.2v difference.
I would never thought that it was the battery.

Steve, call Dave @ My Auto Mechanic on 18th Ave in Jenison/Hudsonville just off Chicago Drive and right by the railroad tracks----he's right across the street from Dave Wesseldyk's shop . That's where I have my vehicles worked on. He has all kinds of diagnostic equipment and he's very good and reasonable! Hey, if it's one of your service/work vehicles and you need it back on the road, then don't mess around---get it fixed!

How's your boat coming???

If you have the original fuel pump after that mileage it might not be supplying enough fuel under load. If you do change it make sure you buy a ac delco or a delphi.

It is not running rich. I believe it is running lean at higher RPM's.

i would pull a spark plug and check it to see if the electroad is doen to the porslen,,the compression will blow the spark out..bad coil will do the same..see if the spark is pink or blue,,if its pink replace the coil..if it was fuel related the engine would pop through the intake..

It may be related - I lost control of the A/C system dampers. They are stuck in floor discharge mode.
I looked at the hoses and couldn't find any leaks. There is a valve of some sort above the drivers side valve cover. One of the two hoses that come off this valve goes to the PCV valve, could a bad PCV valve be causing the loss of vacuame and thus my problem???

Mark - thanks for the info.

was reading a post with a similar problem - My transmission is not shifting properly - it will allow the engine to free rev sometimes if it kicks down. let off the throttle and it works properly.
ALL of these problems have started in the last three weeks.
