I use a rpm air gap but I trailer and flush after every use. I think you will need the brass lined one.

salt eats the valve guides. find a FWC junker and convert your boat if it is left in the water in salt. if the heads are original, they are about to pop and dump water into motor. at this point you might wanna shop for an improvement over the round ports...

Ive boated in salt for 40 years...never had an issue with corrosion exp with heads..or other parts. And I was never a fluch it kind of guy after use. Matter fact last ten yrs my boats stay in water at my lagoon. Big issue is electrolysis. But zinc do their job, sometimes to fast.
Guese ill have to stay with cast iron. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NA...7092/?rtype=10

Stay way away from aluminum if thats the case.

Eddie RPM manifold. I had mine clear coat anodized. It will change the color slighty darker. After 4 yrs. mine looks just like new. Cost @ a local plating shop is aprox. $125.00.

Ran a performer rpm and a dart....both oval port on my mild 454. The motor responded a little better with the performer. The single plane dart actually lost 2 mph if I remember correctly.

Clear Coat Anodize

Clear coat anodize is a process where the aluminum item is submerged in a solution & charged with electricity. My manifold is clear coat anodized, however they do colors also. I'm sure you have seen billet acc. on boats & cars that are blue or red in color.
The coating is very thin. A few mm thick. So if it were to get scratched, that area would be subject to corrosion. Over the years I have had 3 manifolds protected this way with great success. I would even suggest it on a street rod.
