Speedo Water pick-up
 

What pick-ups have you guys had good luck with, I'm currenly running a GPS speedo, but would like to also have my water speed as well since I boat on the Detroit River. For wakeboarding, skiing, I need water speed as well.

I currently have a worn out water pitot and I'm going to replace the hose as well.

Not sure there is much of a difference, but thought I'd ask if any seem more accurate.

I run a Gaffrig water speedo with the Gaffrig pickup and runs real close to my GPS, usually within 1/2 mph.

I agree with livin, my Gaffrig set up is almost exactly the same as my GPS speed.

Good to know, got a link to a whole kit, pitot tube etc.??? Gaffrig's site is about useless.

I bought mine from www.boat-tronics.com . He has the best prices on Gaffrig.
