Sounds like you're over trimming the drives.

My experience with a 5 blade on my Nordic results in less then steller performance. It seems like I am getting an undesireable stern lift. I like the bravos better. Just my 02. Don't want you to spend $ on props that you may not like. See if you can borrow a set before you purchase.

Might be out of HP, over trimming brings up the RPM with no real speed gain, just a guess.

I have talked to several people that have these boats and the dealer where i bought it from, lake cumberland marine, and they all say that boat with that engin combo should run in the mid 90's but low 80's is all i get is that an unreal expectation for this boat

Ok, so I dont really know a whole lot about boat mechanicals but I have been mostly lurking on this website for a couple years now... so take this for what its worth...

My first thought would be to check the hub by marking the prop... I know its an unlikely problem considering you have plenty of power to get you up to 4600 RPM but its a cheap check to eliminate any possiblity of having a problem there. I dont know, that may very well be absurd... just trying to help.

probably absurd... hahaha! Good luck!

I think you have the HP you just ran out of TQ. You might need to step down in prop to keep the best trim angle and to get you into the peak HP band. My boat runs 4-5mph faster with a smaller prop at peak HP 6200RPM vs 5500 cruising prop.

It sounds to me like you might need some 1/2-1" drive spacers. I assume you are trimming up more to get from the 4600rpms to 5200rpms.
