Painting Gil exhaust
 

What paint can I use to repaint my Gil exhaust? I do not plan on removing the old powder coating. That stuff is thick and most of if is still on good. Just going to sand down the rough spots and prepare the whole thing. Do I have to worry about high temperatures? Can I use a good etching epoxy primer and a good black lacquer or enamel? How about the Mercury Phatom black rattle can paint?

Anyone ever paint these aluminum manifolds? Do I have to worry about how hot they get?

i used imron on my eddie marine manifolds..12 yrs and still looking new..

I shot mine in epoxy primer and Concept and have had in issues.
