496 HO Cranks but wont Start
 

I have a 2003 496 Ho that has a problem starting. Everytime I take it out, it takes forever for it to start at first. It Cranks and Cranks but wont fire.
Sometimes after I run it for a while it fires right up. But sometimes it won't unless I crank it for a while.
Boat seems to run fine once started its just the initial firing that seems to be a problem.
I took it to a well known shop and it does not show any codes and they replaced my low pressure fuel pump for $400.00 and it seemd to work good for about a half a day then the same problem again.
I'm afraid I'm going to burn up my starter, you can hear the bendix slip out on it now.
Any Suggestions?

are your pumps priming?

Investigate the fuel pressure regulator....:bunnydance:
