Anyone that has experiences bad or good with the Crower S-Steel please post your experiences as I am considering them for my engines as the T&D aluminum keep failing. Thanks in advance for the input. Rob

I have had a set going on 8yrs now.no issues.good rockers but pricey.
|
I wanted to run the Crower stainless but they exceeded the budget. I'm running Crower aluminum rollers and they've got about 70-80 hours on them without a problem so far.

bcfountain, are they the shaft mount or stud mount that you are running?
|
I have them on my BB Chevelle. They used to have almost 600#'s of pressure open wilth a solid roller. That was from '99 to '05. Now the cam is a hydraulic roller, 460#'s open.
Same ones, no issues, street car. Only one had a bad bearing, got metal in it, still rolled ok but was blue. (solid roller broke) My small block I'm building for the boat will have them. FWIW. |

The stud mount seem to be proven. I am looking for more info on the shaft mount!

I have a set on my 524 that have 150 hours on them and I have a 6000rpm rev limiter that I hit more often than I should with 425lbs open pressure. Just had them checked last year, still like new.

Sorry, stud mont on the car.
