600 sci fuel pumps

I had a thread out here before about the fuel pump issues I am having with 1 of my 600 sci's and now it's gone! WTF?:angry-smiley-038:
Anyway, anymore advice on what is wrong... Fuel pump seems to take alot longer to prime than the SC motor, also the fuel pump sometimes seems to run after the key is turned off, (some one replied that the relay might be sticking), and Dustin replied that I might have a PCM problem, not I didn't write done the P/N of the PCM because I didn't think my thread would disappear!:eekdrop:
Thanks,
Dean

PCM0309 is old and could have fuel pump issues such as staying on until power is cut.

PCM0702 and PCM0802 have new fuel pump circuits, and have no "common" fuel pump related issues.

Install fuel psi gauge next time you run the boat at the lake. Watch pressure, if pump is bad, pressure will fall as load increases. At idle, even a bad pump makes pressure because there is no fuel demand at idle.

Its either your relay or pcm. I've never had a pump run when the relay was turned off. I would replace the fuel pump relay, as its a 2 minute swap.

Dustin,
Thanks for taking the time to reply again with your wealth of knowledge. i will order the relay and swap it out and run the engine on the hose.
thanks again,
Dean

Looked at the BAM Marine webiste, and can't seem to locate any part #'s for any of the relays on the 600 sci's, does anyone have that part # data?
Thanks,
Dean

Look under "Electrical Components (mounting box)" section for relay 882751A1.

See also the label in the "Electrical Components (coils)" section showing the fuel pump relay to be the outer-most relay of the three.

Please keep us posted of what you end up finding, hope the simple relay swap solves your issue.

Kelly,
Thanks for the info. and I now I see the relay 882751A1, in the IPB. I'll let know what I find as to what the solution is....
Thanks again,
Dean
