Throttle
I just purchased a 22 Daytona with a bravo1.. All the boats Ive owned in the past had a "hotfoot" throttle.. the new boat has a hand throttle...
So what are the advantages of a hand throttle? Wouldnt you have more control with a foot throttle and the trim on the steering wheel? |
Probably depends on how you drive your boat. If I were racing it I would prefer the foot throttle but if cruising the hand throttle is better imo...I have had both and personally I prefer the hand throttle. It can be sort of a cruise control as it hold it's position when you take your hand off it.

Good question....... subscribed

I've had both to...and for cruising the foot is a real pain !!
|
Cruise is a big part of it, but it also would be very difficult to throttle well with a foot control when in big water.
