how much????

What does it take, what kind of boat, to do 100 mph with a microwave, ****er,fridge and cook stove? Just curious. I know it takes a lot of boat to even get to 100, but with camping ability? ****, I want to take the front seats that are not in use to get more! What boats are out there that run close to or at this mph with amenities?

Full Force 10-28-2012 07:46 AM

Something with prochargers....

Just like anything else, buy the boat with the options, then make it fast!

Now That's Impressive!!

37 Active thunder with 700/NXT package. Outerlimits and nortech also make boats with nice cabins. What is the budget?? That makes a big difference...

mptrimshop 10-28-2012 11:24 AM

Black thunder

To run 100 in a black thunder with bravos I feel like you are asking to much out of the drives

ICDEDPPL 10-28-2012 12:12 PM

It will take triple 800hp+ to get to 100mph.

mptrimshop 10-28-2012 09:39 PM

did the boat they ran at the shoot out have trips?

fireboatpilot 10-28-2012 11:27 PM

This has to be the most generic, open ended question I've read on here for A LONG TIME! Why waste time trying to answer it?

phragle 10-28-2012 11:38 PM

Given the right truck a 75 sunseeker will do 100.......

A 48 fountain express cruise will do around 80 with tripple 700's... they have surface drives, just swap motors with 1350s and your at 100 with room for the family.

The 46 BT named No Comprimise has triple 800 Chief engines and runs just shy of 100mph.

Takes about 200K used and 600K new. sounds like you are not happy with the performance increase with your new engne.

mptrimshop 10-29-2012 10:44 AM

There is a 43 Flatdeck BT that will run 140+ but he has huge power.

mptrimshop 10-29-2012 12:14 PM

Just getting ready to test it out here in Havasu tomorrow Snap. Im sure I will be happy with it....for a while! Just was sitting around, cruising the classifieds and wondering. We love our boat, dont haul any kids around in it, and was curious what guys were running to get to that speed with the goodies.

dereknkathy 10-30-2012 05:44 AM

i think 2 boats would be cheaper and each do their respective jobs better. one to spend the weekend on, with a really fast one tied up behind it...

It sounds like your you are talking about the Parvey's 43 BT GT. Seen this boat first hand and it is very impressive having all the amentities and running the speed it does. This is not your average BT so I personnally would not use this boat as comparison when talking BT speeds. From what I have seen it is going to take roughly 1000 HP and #6's or equivalent to make a BT run near 100 MPH. A staggered set up will help.

Knot 4 Me 10-30-2012 08:24 AM

Sunny F-4 with 700's/NXT's.

mcollinstn 10-30-2012 10:23 AM

I've got a 16' padvee outboard with a ported 2.4 that will run a hair over 100. If you throw in a porta john, a coleman stove, small fridge and a microwave, it will probably knock 6 mph off of it. I'll sell it cheap.

On Time 10-30-2012 12:21 PM

Don't be greedy just go 80
