B and M 250 MPI Blower Kits
 

I am looking at a set of used b and m blower kits for my 454 mpi's, the type that bolt up to the stock intake and come with all the efi upgrades. Frist question does any one know how much power these kits will produce? Second question is can I get them serviced and if so where? Third question can I get the ECM's reprogramed with out having the motors dinoed, being that the ECM's are originaly for 502s, and if so who does it? Thanks Eric

Yes, you can get those blowers rebuilt. DMPE in SW michigan does them. Very good work and prices.

On a 454 mag, say 5lbs of boost, probably end up around 525HP. As for the programming, if it was designed for the 502 Mag, I dont think the tune will be far off if used on a 454 Mag EFI. If anything it would probably be a tad rich. But I think Mark at Precision Marine would probably be the guy to talk to about that.
