Looking for throttle mounted trim switch info
I thought of a Christmas gift idea for my Dad. His 1993 Baja 290 OS does not have a trim switch on the throttle handle. Rex has them, however, not sure which one to go with. His controls are Kiekheiffer, and they two listed are for Morse MY and Merc Zero Effort OR Gaffrig. Which Catagory would the Keikheiffer fall under?

Are the diodes really needed. I figured you could just piggyback off the existing trim switches. Might have to look at my Powerquest and see how they were run.

You definately need the diodes if you are going to keep the dash trim switches operable and be able to run 2 drives off one switch.
Somebody else asked about the add on trim switches a few months ago and I told them about Rex. They said Rex didn't have them anymore. Not sure if that is true or not. |
