Do yourself a favor and change it to efi . If you truly are thinking of a blower, you should already know that you are going to have to make lot's of changes anyway.

why efi

250 blower height
Manifold from block to top gasket surface = 4 1/2"
Blower with carb = 12"
Flame arrestor = 3"

A friend put a 250 blower on a 251 checkmate with a 454. It fit no problem. He blew the stock 365hp mag with the blower. Then he had a conservative blower motor built. At 6 Lbs of boost with the 250 blower he was at about 550HP. No chiller and no problems and whined like a little girl when on the boost. Sounded cool.

Everybody that has taken the time to try and help you on this thread and the other dumb azz thread's you started !

Yes , a blower will fit under your hatch
Yes , a 500 hour old 454 will blowup with a new blower bolted to it , with carbs or efi
No , you do not need a blower to make 525 HP
No , you can not build a 525 HP motor for $50 with or without a blower
